2 Months of Awesomeness...Check!

Today is Hadley's 2 month birthday and to celebrate we went to the doctors office to get three shots!  Kidding, but she did have her two month check up today and totally rock it out! :) Not only is she in the 75% in height and weight, but the doctor said we was really advanced to be only two months old and she was really impressed with how well she is growing! :) Keep it up Baby Girl! :)

Two Month Milestones: Started on formula and taking 5oz at each feeding, lots of smiles, cooing, giggles, making eye contact, more aware of new sounds, better sleeping habits (some all nighters and sleeping between 6-7 hours at a time each night), and all around ...a more content baby! :)

2 Month Stats:

Weight: 11.12oz - 75%

Height: 22.75cm - 75%

Head Circumference:  38.5cm - 50%

Our First Trip Away from Sweet Pea!

Matt and I took a solo trip to Jacksonville Beach, Florida last week for a wedding...which was absolutely beautiful!  However, as nice as it was to have time for just he and I, it totally sucked having to leave Hadley! She was loving it, being that she stayed with G-Ma and Big Man and we really enjoyed spending time with Dennis (the groom) and his bride, Alix!

Matt's First Father's Day...

What a great weekend!  We started the weekend off by joining Seven Oaks Pool...it was only natural given that our child is super cute in a bathing suit and already loves the beach and being outside, plus it gives Matt and I a place to hang out with old friends and meet new folks that live in the area.  On Sunday, we went out to breakfast before Matt's tee time with his Dad, my Dad, and my brother, while my Mom and I took Hadley shopping and stocked up on more clothes that she doesn't need!  We all met up for dinner at our house around 6:30ish and celebrated having 3 great Dad's in our lives...Big Man, Paw Paw, and Matt! It was an awesome time, and we are so lucky that our families enjoy spending time together!  Happy Father's Day!! :)

Our Beach Baby!

Hadley is now 6 weeks old...I can't hardly believe it! Time is flying by and Matt and I can barely keep up with how much she changes on a day to day basis.  We have already moved up to size 1 diapers, she is taking 5oz of milk at each feeding, and she is beginning to coo and "talk" back to us when she is awake! With that said, I thought it was time to take a road trip so Hadley and I made a solo trip to the beach without Matt this weekend and boy does my baby love the salt air! :) Being that I was born a beach bum, I was hoping that she would be the same way and let's just say, she is going to follow in her Mama's footsteps!  I can't wait to go back down with Matt and actually get her little toes in the water!
